When I asked all my friends and family about my concept they all loved it, but invariably somebody always gave me some advice on 'how to blog' and what I needed to do in order to generate traffic quickly and garner 'hits'.
Without knowing my motivation for this site and its end objective, I have been told a countless number of times that I need to write for the Internet and keep my blogs short, easy to read, and to ensure I have all the keywords involved and necessary for marketing to the search engines.
This is all great information I am sure and perfect for building quick traffic for a high-traffic website, but my objective here is to help people by creating valuable original content that comes from me, in my form of expression in the way I believe will help you in some way or another.
Being me is what makes me and this site unique! My interest every time I write a blog isn't to write it in a certain amount of words or to ensure the most number of people hit on it.
My goal is to help people improve their lives and if it means some people wont read or like my articles because they are too long, or not written too frequently or at the same time everyday, well so be it.
My hope is that a few people will really benefit from what I have to say and take the time to absorb it and pass it onto other people who may benefit from it as well.
My strategy is long term and although we all have to eat and pay the bills, I don't do anything for money anymore.
I will spend all my time in the future providing valuable content based on the experiences of my own life with the hope that word-of-mouth references will do the rest for me.
I have been through some horrible incidents in my life that led me to major depression and anxiety, but with time and the proper shift in my mindset, I overcame them and believe I am in the process of self-actualizing and doing what I love and do best.
Communicating to help others and sharing these experiences is the goal and my life direction! In the end I believe I am a true artist and a true artist never compromises on his form of expression.
Does Prince, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman express who they are or do they sing for the radio? Yes it is important we all have some form of structure to utilize the various media to achieve our end objective, but it is crucial in whatever you do you play to your strengths and do not compromise who you are and what makes you special - play the flute the way you were meant to play it.
So I ask you to please forgive me if some of my postings are too long, I have a lot to say.
Please forgive me if everything I do isn't made for the cameras, I am writing for human beings with the only interest to help people and motivate them to make a change.
Please forgive me If I do not post on the same time everyday, I post when I feel I have something very valuable to say, and finally please forgive me on focusing on quality of posts rather than quantity.
My final thought here is to inform you that I want the responsibility of connecting with 1 million visitors every month.
I want to share my experiences and to help as many people develop their lives and to overcome fear, stress and anxiety.
I have spent time with many people around the world and in doing so have changed many of their lives, careers and relationships for the better based on my input.
I would like to motivate as many people as possible, and in doing so will not spend too much on marketing but will put faith in the fact that the quality of my content will inspire you, help you and compel you to pass it on and give me positive 'word-of-mouth'.
We are no different, I am not better that you or anyone, I have just been through a shit load of life changing situations that I feel compelled to share with you.
I have opened up my experiences and opened up who I am to you and will always tell it like it is whether I piss you off or not.
The end goal is growth and to share as many experiences as possible to motivate you and plant the seeds for you to make informed decisions in developing your life.
I thank you for hearing me out and I look forward to seeing you as much as possible.
